Below can be found information about our newly-built Petrol Hydraulic Loco!

Based on an American and Australian design, the F40PH.Used In long-distance hauling in Australia, and regular Commuter service in the USA.
Approximate scale is 1:8.

Powered by 6.5hp motor (originally 3.5hp but this was too small for the job) and driving 2 Hydraulic Motors driving the bogies through chain. Sitting on DNC (Sydney AUS) Bogies this loco is proving to be a powerful hauler, with just afew minor issues to sort before it enters Public Hauling duties.

Our greatful thanks to Energy Hydraulics who "plumbed up" the Hydraulic system and has been great in helping sort the various issues that come with a new system. Highly recommended, so go see them for all your hydraulic requirements!

Also an extended thanks to all members who have progressively worked hard and put in some long hours to get this project 'On the Rails'.Without them, it simply wouldn't be here!
